In their own words: what leaders value about our programmes

A lot of experience, research, thoughtfulness, energy, and planning goes into designing and running any development event, whether a leadership programme, or team day or other bespoke event.

Our focus and methodology is clear:

  • Ownership for impact as a leader, within and beyond an organisation

  • Time to relate with self and each other is a foundation

  • Reflective practice as a fundamental discipline

  • Application to real work life cases

  • Design is grounded in evidence of adult learning and leadership theory

  • Duty of care to the participants and the organisation is prioritised.

We take these principles and design in partnership with client organisations, to support their needs, for their leaders, and their business.

The best people to comment on the value gained and the impact of the programmes are the leaders themselves. We ask them to reflect throughout, not for our validation (although constructive comments are welcomed for our growth), but to increase ownership of outcomes beyond the sessions.

In their own words….for the individual

  • “The…programme…has had a massive impact on my personal development, self-understanding and awareness on my leadership role and potential.”

  • “This has driven great personal insight and development, of great personal importance and value to me.”

  • “It has really had an impact on my personal development and confidence.”

  • “This workshop helped me to gain more confidence and peace when working...”

  • “Engaging, thought provoking, inclusive and everyone will take away new skills and techniques which will improve their skills as a leader.”

  • “Amazing programme for developing leadership skills and great way to build relationship/share experience with my peers.”

  • “Leadership is not a quick fix but rather a continuous journey of development and learning. This is a key takeaway from the two multi day face to face sessions enjoyed by our cohort group. “

  • “The discussions during the course were lively, and for me it was…about the opportunity to share my experiences with others which was rewarding.”

In their own words….for the organisation

  • “During tough times, the programme has ‘proved its value.”

  • “A key skill that North-52 demonstrated over the collective 4 days was the ability to quickly develop a trusted environment where all participants were comfortable opening up on often very personal situations. These often complex case studies could then be worked on through collaborative sessions with peers and using the tools clearly articulated by North-52. I would encourage senior management teams to invest the time to work with North-52 where the learnings can have a dramatic impact on the future performance of the related business. “

  • “I truly believe this session will help paving the way for us to be more successful in our day-to-day activities.”

  • “One and a half days allowing us to take a step back, not only to point out pain points and find ways to improve them as a group. But also get a new (positive) perspectives on many aspects of our behaviour at work.”

  • “An opportunity to speak openly with colleagues and obtain new perspectives. The time away from the day to day to put the spotlight / attention on important areas that we don’t typically take time for and an opportunity to develop relationships with international team.”
