Overview
Benita received her doctorate in coaching and mentoring in 2022 from Oxford Brookes University after successfully conducting the first empirical research study of its kind on duty of care of the executive coach. With more than 30 years’ experience in learning and development, Benita has built a strong reputation as an executive coach, coach supervisor and facilitator of leadership development initiatives. She is a former senior Human Resource leader at Citigroup, Merrill Lynch and the oil and gas industry, and now works with leaders and organisations globally in the development of people through one-to-one coaching and group programmes. With extensive experience in helping leaders navigate the contemporary complexities they face, she brings a pragmatic and supportive coaching philosophy to her work. Benita is a published author, an academic journal peer reviewer, presenter at global research conferences and as a non-executive advisory board member.
